Join us for a buffett dinner and discussion with NU History professor Kate Masur. She will discuss the little-known history of African Americans in Illinois in the 1840s-1860s, highlighting the work of the Northwestern-based team that developed the website: Black Organizing in Pre-Civil War Illinois: Creating Community, Demanding Justice.
