The Robert J. Havey, MD Institute for Global Health invites you to join a Global Health Elective Information Session! We will discuss electives in global health, available funding, and our network of global partners.
The Global Health Elective is coordinated by the Havey Institute for Global Health. It is part of the Global Health Experience, which refers to both elective and non-elective rotations for Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine students. Medical students are eligible to participate in Global Health Elective opportunities during Phase 3 of their training and complete the application process the year before.
A successful global health elective starts with thoughtful consideration of our partner sites, timelines, policies, and funding opportunities. All applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of these group information sessions.
Lunch will be served at the in-person sessions. We look forward to seeing you and answering your questions!
Note: Feinberg School of Medicine students who are seeking to participate in this program during Phase 1 or 2, or have been referred by their corresponding FSM department, should attend a "Global Health Experience" Information Session.
