"The Rise and Fall of Animal Experimentation: Empathy, Science and the Future of Research"
The speaker will discuss his latest book which considers questions that concern animal based biomedical research. These include describing the history of our use of animal models in research. Asking whether animal-based research is effective in achieving its aims and ,if so, how often? Is the use of animals in biomedical research ethical?
