The Lurie Cancer Center Basic Research Seminar Series presents:
HDAC3 is Critical in Tumor Development and Therapeutic Resistance in Kras-Mutant Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
Lilian Eichner, PhD
Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics
Feinberg School of Medicine
Northwestern University
The Eichner lab studies LKB1-mutant lung tumor biology, leveraging mouse models to define in vivo molecular mechanisms of tumorigenesis. Recent findings have identified that Histone Deacetylase 3 (HDAC3) is essential for lung tumor growth in vivo. Mechanistic studies revealed an important role for HDAC3 in drug resistance, and the therapeutic im-plications of these findings will be discussed.
All members of the Northwestern Medicine community are invited to attend.
