Northwestern University's Querrey InQbation Lab is featuring the Q Founder Series, focused on key topics that early-stage startups face.

This Q Founder Seminar will focus on legal strategies for resolving disputes with third parties such as suppliers, technology developers and engineers, investors, and customers.   The presentation will also discuss the litigation process and settlement agreements.  The presenters will be Adam Falkof, one of the leaders of Quarles’ national startup team and Tom McDonnell, a litigation partner in Quarles’ Chicago office.

Adam Falkof and Tom McDonnell are available immediately following the seminar to discuss relevant topics.

SPEAKER BIOS

Adam Falkof is a partner at Quarles & Brady in Chicago and leads the firm’s startup practice. He has substantial experience with the Midwest’s startup community and has previously launched four of his own startups. Mr. Falkof represents a number leading early-stage startups and has close relationships with technology accelerators, angel investors, and venture capital funds nationwide. He also writes a monthly Midwest startups newsletter that features early stage Midwest startup companies and upcoming startup community events.

Tom McDonnell is a partner at Quarles & Brady in Chicago.  He helps clients on a wide variety of complex commercial litigation matters and routinely appears in both state and federal courts. He has successfully represented several clients on appeal before the Illinois Court of Appeals. Tom represents clients on matters such as: Breach of contract disputes; Real estate and construction litigation; Financial institutions litigation; and Post-judgment enforcement.
