Tech Talks at The Querrey InQbation Lab offer local high school students the opportunity to learn about technologies that will impact our lives from leading Northwestern faculty.


John Rogers, PhD

Prof. John Rogers is the preeminent pioneer in the field of bio-integrated electronics. His research exploits the characteristics of soft electronic materials. Applications of his technologies range from brain mapping technology that can serve as the basis for a neural interface, to wireless wearable sensors to capture vital signs of premature babies in the NICU, to microfluidic sweat stickers that can diagnose cystic fibrosis, to dissolvable pacemakers for patients with cardiac conditions. Come hearfrom Prof. Rogers about his work, about some of the startup companies that have emerged from his research, and how he seeks to impact the future.
