DESCRIPTION:
Prof. John Rogers is the preeminent pioneer in the field of bio-integrated electronics. His research exploits the characteristics of soft electronic materials. Applications of his technologies range from brain mapping technology that can serve as the basis for a neural interface, to wireless wearable sensors to capture vital signs of premature babies in the NICU, to microfluidic sweat stickers that can diagnose cystic fibrosis, to dissolvable pacemakers for patients with cardiac conditions.
