Third Coast CFAR’s NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy Workshop with Galter Health Sciences Library

The NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy that took effect on January 25, 2023, applies to all NIH-funded research that generates scientific data, regardless of funding mechanism. Compliance with this policy requires submission of a Data Management and Sharing Plan (DMSP) with the funding application, outlining the plan for managing, preserving, and sharing project data. In this online workshop offered by the Third Coast CFAR’s BSIS Core, Sara Gonzales, MS, MLIS, will present information on the NIH policy and provide recommendations for creating a compliant DMSP. She is the senior data librarian at the Galter Health Sciences Library & Learning Center of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
