AAPI Heritage Month Celebration: Asian American History and Health

Join the Center for Health Equity Transformation on Monday, May 22 for a celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Theresa Mah, PhD, and Ji-Yeon Yuh, PhD, will be discussing recent increases in Anti-Asian Hate in the US. 

Dr. Mah is an Illinois State Representative for the 24th District, and a former college professor of US History and Ethnic Studies at Bowling Green State University. 

Dr. Yuh is a professor of Asian American histories at Northwestern University, specializing in Asian diasporas, race and gender, and oral histories.
