Stephen Alltop, conductor; Claudia Lasareff-Mironoff, viola
Northwestern alumna Claudia Lasareff-Mironoff performs a Concerto for Viola and Orchestra in E-flat Major by J. S. Bach. Originally presumed lost, the work has recently been reconstructed from movements that may have been arranged from the original concerto by Bach himself. Rounding out the program are sparkling sinfonias and concertos by Bach and his sons Carl Philipp Emanuel and Johann Christian.
