Title: Optimizing the Antigen-Adjuvant-Administration Trifecta to Elicit Mucosal Immunity
Speaker: Purnima Dubey, PhD, Associate Professor, Microbial Infection and Immunity, The Ohio State University
Topic:
Our group is exploring strategies to generate mucosal immunity against pathogens and cancer. To this end, we optimize the antigens, adjuvants and delivery routes that elicit sustained T cell immunity. Recent efforts include the identification of novel CD4+ T cell recognized antigens expressed by the gram-negative bacterial pathogen Bordetella pertussis and the testing of adjuvants that elicit TH1/TH17 immune responses.
Host: Pablo Penaloza-MacMaster, PhD, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Microbiology-Immunology
