A cosmic exploration of the natural world, culminating in The Consolation of Apollo, Kile Smith’s extraordinary musical journey through the philosophical questions that emerged once human beings finally liberated themselves from Earth’s gravitational pull in 1968. The program also features works by Edie Hill, David Shapiro, and Eriks Ešenvalds.
