On May 1, the Northwestern Sustainability Lecture Series will return for another year of talks by world-renowned experts in energy, climate and the environment, and urban transformations. [REGISTRATION REQUIRED]
The summit addresses the analysis of questions, problems, and solutions that result from human interactions with the Earth both above and below the surface, while expanding the educational and cultural experience of a large audience. This event was conceived within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science and is sponsored by the Paula M. Trienens Institute for Sustainability and Energy, the Alumnae of Northwestern, and the Center for Engineering Sustainability and Resilience.
This year's focus is "Earth-Human Interactions: Sustainability and Development;" the agenda will feature experts across three core themes: energy, climate and environment, and urban transformations.
