In celebration of Black History Month, all dining halls will be featuring recipes from the Sweet Home Café cookbook during dinner on Wednesday, February 21st and will feature scan-to-win opportunities so you can win a copy.
Join us at Sargent Dining Hall from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm on Wednesday, February 21st for our pinnacle Black History Month event.
Things to look forward to:
- Local black-owned restaurant Soul & Smoke will be taking over a station, serving samples of their delicious BBQ.
-A specially curated menu with recipes from the Sweet Home Café cookbook. Sweet Home Café is housed in the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture
-Chocolates from Evanston-local, Black-owned Business, Noir d’Ébène Chocolat et Pâtisserie
-Enjoy Black & Bold affogatos with guest chef, Jerl Griffen from Thompson Hospitality
