Join Elizabeth McMath, PhD, to learn about key considerations and criteria you can apply to your translational research ideas to strengthen the scientific and business case for your innovation, better positioning you for success with prospective industry and venture capital partners.
Elizabeth will share her perspective from working in strategic advising and business development/licensing within biotech and pharma companies. The content of this talk will focus on helping researchers understand the key questions that venture-focused funders and industry partners will have about their work and developing approaches to address these. Elizabeth will also share information on the Chicago Biomedical Consortium’s award programs to provide non-dilutive funds (up to $250k) for promising translational research to support venture creation.
