On Friday, September 6, the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University will host the Cancer Prevention Symposium.  This year's focus will be A New Frontier in Cancer Prevention: Targeting Immunity.

This year’s in-person conference brings together leading experts and oncology professionals from across the nation to discuss the emerging field of immunoprevention of cancer and its application to a variety of malignancies. Early data suggest tolerability and safety of immunoprevention approaches, while efficacy is expected to be higher in the immunocompetent prevention population than in individuals already diagnosed with cancer.
