As part of our Faculty Wellness Week, faculty members and their loved ones are invited to Faculty Family Night at the Dearborn Observatory. We will be joined by an astronomer from Northwestern’s Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics (CIERA) who will provide a brief introduction to an astronomy topic, followed by Q&A. Every participant will get the chance to look through the telescope, cultivating intellectual and social wellness.

Please note that the dome where the telescope is housed is not heated or air conditioned, so please dress appropriately. Additionally, there are two flights of stairs to climb to get up to the dome and no elevator.
