Each year, Feinberg Academy of Medical Educators (FAME), in collaboration with the Department of Medical Education, hosts Medical Education Day, a series of presentations, workshops, and discussions celebrating and examining the future of medical education.

The 14th Annual Medical Education Day keynote speaker is Jean Twenge, PhD. The Keynote Lecture, "Understanding Generational Differences: Improving Teaching and Training in Academic Health Professions" will be on Northwestern's Chicago campus.

To make the event more inclusive, the Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching has been invited to host a simulcast on the Evanston campus for those unable to attend downtown.

About the keynote lecture
Keynote speaker Jean Twenge, PhD, a leading expert on generational differences and professor of psychology at San Diego State University, will provide expert insights to help you teach, train, and engage across the generations in the workplace. Twenge is the author of more than 180 scientific publications and books, including Generations: The Real Differences between Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, Boomers and Silents—and What They Mean for America’s Future.
