Title: Red light, green light
Abstract: Turning on the traffic lights for quivers- i.e. exploring its maximal green sequences- give us a way to understand the mysterious quantum dilogarithm function, which seems to be almost everywhere in physics. This mysterious link takes us through Donaldson-Thomas invariants, combinatorics, and lots of interesting dots and arrows. (Disclaimer: There will be heavy use of red and green Hagoromo chalk; apologies to those who are red-green color blind.)
Note: The talk will start at 4:10 pm
