Title: Patterns in Large and Huge Subsets of the Integers
Abstract: If a subset of the integers is big enough, one should be able to find many types of patterns. This ideology underlies many great theorems and research problems. In this talk, we will focus on recent results concerning infinite patterns and discuss the appropriate notion of largeness needed to contain a specific pattern. We will not worry about proving the theorems, but we will analyze why certain hypotheses are necessary.
Note: The talk will start at 4:10 pm
