About Shahin Davoudpour
Shahin Davoudpour, PhD, is a research assistant professor of Medical Social Sciences and Associate Director of Organizational Research for the EDIT Program at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. A quantitative researcher with background in behavioral strategy, his work began with a focus on workplace heterosexism and has evolved to address broader societal issues, particularly stigmatizing attitudes expressed by unlikely actors—namely, allies. This led him to be among the firsts to study the phenomenon of "superficial allies," revealing complexities in allyship dynamics. Currently, Davoudpour is investigating HIV and PrEP stigma through various lenses including behavioral ethics.
