Title: Actions of lattices on flag manifolds

Abstract: Lattices in higher rank Lie groups have some canonical actions on manifolds. We would like to understand if there are different actions. Ones can obtain local classifications or global one with additional structure preserving assumptions. The results are from joint works with C. Connell, M. Islam, R. Spatzier, T. Weisman, and V. Pecastaing.
