Join the Northwestern Camerata for a captivating concert that delves into the themes of home and belonging. This program showcases a diverse range of repertoire for treble voices, featuring works by Stephen Paulus, Gabriel Fauré, Craig Hella Johnson, and Vincent Persichetti. At the heart of the program is Joshua Shank’s Saro, a powerful piece for voice and solo violin that tells the story of an immigrant who leaves behind his beloved to seek a better life in a new land. His heartfelt reflections on the sacrifices and hopes tied to this journey form the narrative core of the concert.
