With Rafael Palacios of Sankofa Danzafro, Winter 2025 Artist in Residence of the Dance Program in the Department of Theatre and Kaplan Humanities Institute.

Open to all! Limited capacity—please register in advance.

Location: Ballroom Studio of the Wirtz Center.

Join us for a workshop and dialogue with Rafael Palacios, esteemed Colombian choreographer and dancer, and Artistic Director of Sankofa Danzafro. Palacios is internationally recognized for his innovative work integrating Afro-traditional, contemporary, and urban dance forms. This workshop offers an opportunity to engage with the rich cultural and artistic frameworks that inform his practice.

Cost: Free; all welcome, but space is limited so registration is required.
