This exposition is a collaboration between the Melville J. Herskovits Library of African Studies, the Institute for the Study of Islamic Thought in Africa (ISITA), and the Council for Language Instruction (CLI) Outreach Committee. It features posters created by students of participating languages at Northwestern University: Arabic, French, Hebrew, Portuguese, Swahili, and Turkish. The purpose of this collaboration is to center student research that recognizes the contributions and accomplishments of Africans and People of African Descent globally.
Refreshments provided by Herskovits and ISITA.
