Title: What if Gromov did not invent J-holomorphic curves
Abstract: J-holomorphic curve has been one of the most important tools in modern symplectic geometry. However, I will instead introduce an alternative approach to study symplectic geometry, namely, the microlocal theory of sheaves. We will see its applications in some concrete examples. The title is quoted from a talk by David Treumann.
Note: The talk will start at 4:10 pm
