Title: Uniqueness of Compact Tangent Flow in Mean Curvature Flow (MCF)
Abstract: Following Felix Schulze's paper of the same title, we begin with a short introduction to MCF. We then sketch the proof of uniqueness of the tangent flow. At its core is an application of the Simon-Lojasiewicz inequality to Huisken's monotone Gaussian integral. The argument was originally developed by Leon Simon to prove the uniqueness of tangent cones for minimal surfaces and has found wide applications in geometric analysis.
