To celebrate CIERA’s 15th anniversary, we are excited to invite CIERA’s 15th anniversary, we are excited to invite CEIRA alumni, postdocs and interested faculty to a special two-day gathering at Northwestern University on Thursday and Friday, August 28–29, 2025.

This event builds on the legacy of our previous Fellows at the Frontiers conferences (2011 and 2016), which brought together postdoctoral researchers from across the astronomy and astrophysics community. While a third installment was planned for 2021, it was unfortunately canceled due to the pandemic—making this year's gathering all the more special.

This time, we’re bringing together an inspiring mix of voices, including CIERA alumni, participants from past conferences, and current postdoctoral fellows from across the U.S. and Canada. Expect engaging talks, lively discussions, and a chance to reconnect with colleagues old and new.

Registration is now open and will remain available through mid-August, but space is limited—so we encourage you to register early! The $300 fee includes all meals, breaks, and a banquet dinner on Thursday evening.

If you're not on the speaker schedule but would like to share your work, you're warmly welcome to bring a poster. To have your poster included in the official program, please send your title and a brief abstract to ciera-events@northwestern.edu by July 31st.
