Title: 70k Acres of Surprises: Ecological Research in the Forest Preserves of Cook County
Meredith's Bio: I am an entomologist and ecologist with a background in academic research. I am passionate about creating connections between people and the living world (especially insects!). I am thrilled to be supporting the conservation and restoration of the 70,000+ acres of the Forest Preserves of Cook County, using my research skills to understand and inform the management tools we use.
Refreshments will be served at 10:30 am and the seminar will begin at 11 am.
Located in the Plant Science Center's Seminar Room at the Chicago Botanic Garden.
