Northwestern's Center for Responsible Technology, Policy, and Public Dialogue is hosting Lorne Rodriguez, Manager of Enterprise Generative AI at Chicago Public Schools.

Serving over 300,000 students, Chicago Public Schools is the 4th largest school district in the country. Lorne Rodriguez leads the strategic vision and implementation of the district's comprehensive Al ecosystem, extending beyond instructional applications to an enterprise-wide framework.
He is responsible for overseeing the district's Al governance structure and managing committees dedicated to Al literacy, technical development, and risk mitigation. Lorne's work includes developing and scaling diverse Al programs, ranging from professional learning initiatives for educators and leaders to Al-powered operational tools for central office staff. Furthermore, he contributes his expertise on a national level as a co-chair for task forces that focus on developing Al data rubrics and trusted application standards, providing a broader perspective to his local initiatives.
