Now on display in the Eckenhoff Reading Room, Galter in Bloom: 500 Years of Botanical Illustration, brings viewers into a bibliographic garden of flowers and fruit trees, herbs and vegetables, with a selection of illustrations spanning centuries and printing techniques, all curated from the Galter Library’s collection of botanical books. The exhibit examines how visual imagery can be affected by color, size, technique, purpose, and more.
