Description:

Book Conversation with Stephen Witt: Inside the Rise of Nvidia and the Future of AI Risks

Join us for a compelling discussion with Stephen Witt, bestselling author of “The Thinking Machine: How Nvidia Created the AI Revolution,” and New York Times contributor of the provocative recent article “The A.I. Prompt That Could End the World.”

In this facilitated conversation, MSLOC associate professor Ryan Smerek and Stephen Witt will explore the human story behind Nvidia and its relentless CEO, Jensen Huang. In his book, Witt pulls back the curtain on the leadership decisions, culture of risk, and organizational vision that fueled Nvidia’s meteoric rise to becoming the world’s most valuable company. But he also issues a timely warning: we are building technologies that may outpace our ethical and organizational readiness.

Join us as we explore these topics. The session will also include a facilitated Q&A with audience members.
