The Language Resource Center is thrilled to host our second Immersion Week, dedicated to exploring intercultural competence in language instruction.
This three-day event will feature a keynote address by Manuela Wagner, Professor of Language Education at the University of Connecticut. Attendees will also participate in a panel discussion with representatives from various Northwestern units, highlighting initiatives that promote intercultural competence for both students and instructors. The week will conclude with a hands-on workshop focused on integrating intercultural assessment into the curriculum.
