Carla Frisch, former head of policy at the U.S. Department of Energy, will discuss U.S. federal energy policy with a focus on electrification. As a senior career official, she reported to and advised the Secretary of Energy, regardless of political party. She worked extensively on the design and implementation of several major U.S. energy laws, including the Inflation Reduction Act. GreenBiz named her a 2024 Climate Policy Hero. She originally co-designed and co-taught the Electrify Everything course.  "
