Title: holomorphic bump functions

Abstract: Complex manifolds are locally, zero sets of holomorphic functions. Projective manifolds are zero sets of holomorphic homogeneous polynomials. Clearly, projective manifolds are complex. The Kodaira embedding theorem says the converse holds provided a condition on curvature. Using holomorphic bump functions I will sketch a proof of the Kodaira embedding theorem.
