Title: Rigidity of Invariant Submanifolds of Geodesic Flow in Negative Curvature
Abstract: Let M be a closed manifold of negative curvature, and let T1M be its unit tangent bundle. Given a dynamical system, a classically interesting question is the following— what are the closed invariant sets? In this talk we answer the question for closed invariant submanifolds of T1M under geodesic flow— all such submanifolds arise as unit tangent bundles of totally geodesic submanifolds of M.
