Sijo Across Borders: 

 Korean Lyric Poetry and Cultural Exchange 

We invite you to join the Korean Language Program and Asian Languages and Cultures for Sijo Across Borders, a poetry workshop dedicated to exploring Korea’s most prevalant lyric tradition. This event opens with an introduction to the history, structure, and cultural significance of sijo, followed by a guided writing session in English and Korean.

Led by Dr. Lucy Park, Executive Director of the Sejong Cultural Society, the workshop welcomes participants from all backgrounds.

No previous experience in Korean/Hangul is required- all ALC language learners are welcome!

Korean snacks and light refreshments will be provided!
