Galter Special Collections is opening its reading room for a special open house event where patrons can drop in to see historical materials that deepen the themes presented in the exhibits currently on display, Care & Custody: Past Responses to Mental Health and Three Steps Forward, Two Steps Back: The Continued Struggle to Treat Mental Illness in America. Library staff will be on hand to present and discuss the materials with you, as well as show you how to handle these historical items.
The Special Collections Reading Room is located on the second floor, at the top of the stairs (Room 2-411). Details about exhibits and related programming can be found here.
