This session focuses on the non-code aspects of organizing programming-heavy projects. We’ll cover project design, file organization, version control, collaboration practices, IDEs and virtual environments, and best practices on documentation and data management. These strategies are applicable across various programming languages, though examples will primarily use Python, R, and Matlab. This workshop will not be recorded.
Prerequisites: There are no strict prerequisites, but participants will benefit most if they have some programming experience and are currently working on a research project that involves coding.
