The Symphonic Wind Ensemble presents an evening of musical storytelling, where familiar legends and new tales come to life. From the masterful characters of Vincent Persichetti’s Divertimento to John Mackey’s radiant The Frozen Cathedral, the program unfolds as a sonic exploration of imagination and narrative. At the heart of the evening is a world premiere by Bienen student composer Tanner Carlson-Huber, inspired by the Frano Family’s story “Yes Day!,” a community partnership with the Sing-Me-a-Story Foundation.
