Join the Feinberg Office of Health Equity on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, for the Health Equity Research Symposium featuring our Lyceum Keynote Address. This annual event brings together faculty, clinicians, students, trainees and staff for a day of medical research insights, collaboration and innovation focused on advancing health equity.

Addressing Rural Health Inequities Through Community-Engaged Research 

The 2026 Lyceum Keynote Address will feature Nancy E. Schoenberg, PhD, the Marion Pearsall Professor of Behavioral Science and University Research Professor at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Schoenberg is also the Founding Director of the Center for Health, Engagement and Transformation (CHET) and Associate Director of the University of Kentucky Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences.

The Health Equity Research Symposium Poster Session will showcase innovative research focused on interventions, programs and policies that promote health equity and improve health outcomes. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore research from students, trainees and faculty working to advance health equity and inspire meaningful change.

Awards will be presented during the poster session to recognize outstanding contributions in health equity research.
