Learn how to navigate through essential tasks in statistical analysis such as data cleaning, modeling, and visualization using R.
R is a powerful programming language for performing essential tasks in statistical analysis such as data cleaning, modeling, and visualization. You will learn how to navigate through these key stages using R. The hands-on experience will build your confidence in running statistical tests, such as a t-test, and creating statistical models like regression. This workshop will walk you through the process of understanding your data, checking the assumptions, applying appropriate tests or models, and interpreting the output, which can be transferred as you work with more complicated models. The workshop focuses on the practical aspects of working with statistical models in R rather than statistical concepts and theory.

Prerequisites: Basic familiarity with R and familiarity with basic statistics (hypothesis tests and confidence intervals, linear regression).

Event details: This workshop is held in person; there is no hybrid option or recording available. This is an interactive, hands-on workshop; participants are required to bring their laptop and charger.
