Part of the Winter Chamber Music Festival
Jesse Mills, violin; Ole Akahoshi, cello; Rieko Aizawa, piano
Hailed for their “eloquent, enthralling” performances (The Boston Globe), the Horszowski Trio has become a vital force on the international chamber music scene since its founding in 2011. The group's recent performance highlights include a sold-out London debut in 2019 at Wigmore Hall and a critically acclaimed 21-concert tour of Germany in 2022. In 2023, the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition created the Horszowski Trio Prize to award exceptionally accomplished piano trios. In April 2025, the trio gave the world premiere of Charles Wuorinen’s Piano Trio No. 2 at the Library of Congress.
