Donald Schleicher, conductor; Christopher Guzman, piano
The Chamber Orchestra presents an all-Beethoven program, opening with the composer's turbulent Coriolan Overture, followed by his Piano Concerto No. 4, featuring faculty pianist Christopher Guzman. Concluding the evening is Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, its four-note "fate" gesture perhaps the most well-known motif in classical orchestral music.
