Alumni Medal Panel

This year’s recipients of the Northwestern Alumni Medal, the NAA’s highest honor, will discuss how the University shaped their lives and careers.
Conversations with the Dean: Nobel Laureate Joel Mokyr
Friday, October 9, 3–4 p.m. CDT
Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences presents a special live edition of its signature series featuring Dean Adrian Randolph and Joel Mokyr, Robert H. Strotz Professor of Arts and Sciences, professor of economics and history, and recipient of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences.
NU Performs
Saturday, October 10, 6–7:30 p.m. CDT
Enjoy a concert showcasing several of Northwestern’s top musical ensembles, including Bienen School of Music vocalists, Synchrony Quartet, Undertones a cappella, student-led Latin Music Ensemble, and music theater from the Waa-Mu Show.

175th Anniversary Celebration Ice Cream Social

Norris University Center, Cohen Lawn
Grab a scoop and celebrate 175 years of Northwestern! Join students, faculty, staff and alumni on Cohen Lawn for an all-campus ice cream social marking this milestone in Northwestern’s history. President Chiang will offer brief remarks before joining the community for an informal afternoon of conversation and celebration.
