Classroom Solidarities (2022-2026) chronicles the multi-year analog remaking of approximately 200 digital protest images and videos created by women and young girls in classrooms across Iran. Borrowing visual language from On Matters of Resilience (2017), Rezaeipour layers this material with audio from student-led and feminist movements in the U.S. and throughout the Global South.
After the talk, audience members will be invited to respond anonymously to prompts drawn from the artist's middle-school science notebooks.
