The panel will discuss the current state of math publishing and how it will need to evolve in order to continue to serve the mathematics community. Panelists will share how journals currently operate and discuss the difficulties of refereeing and assigning authorship. We will discuss how publishing and authorship work in other disciplines, as a way of seeing what alternative models might exist.
