Join Business Institutions for lunch and a casual conversation with our guest speaker, Mike Cohen.

Mike Cohen is Head of Acquisitions at Dalfen Industrial, a real estate investment firm specializing in the acquisition, development and operation of last-mile industrial properties throughout the United States. Mike leads a team of 20 real estate professionals across 5 regional offices and has transacted on more than $9 billion of real estate in his career.

Prior to Dalfen, Mike spent 14 years at Liberty Property Trust, working in leasing and development before spending the majority of his time in acquisitions. Mike also worked in finance at Toll Brothers, investment banking at Cushman & Wakefield, and started his career in the analyst program at Goldman Sachs.

Mike graduated from Northwestern University in 1999 with a B.A. in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences (MMSS) and Economics, and earned an MBA from The Wharton School in 2004, concentrating in Real Estate and Finance.

Mike is happy to share his career progression and experiences in the real estate and finance fields, including the latest industry trends and opportunities, as well as his perspective on leading and managing teams. Mike lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife, Nicole (McCormick '99), and has two children in college, and can share his personal journey over the years with work/life balance.
