This information session is for PhD candidates and post-doctoral scholars interested in interviewing for full time R&D career positions at Dow. Dow has exciting opportunities for new graduate PhD and post-doctoral scientists and Engineers interested in careers in Research and Development (R&D) as well as in other functions including Manufacturing & Engineering (M&E), Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), and Information Systems (IS) aligned with various business units in Texas, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and other locations in North America. As a PhD scientist or engineer, you will be responsible for solving diverse and open-ended problems, driving initiatives that provide business and customer value and contribute to intellectual capital, and incorporating innovative technologies into practice. You will have the opportunity to develop broad and deep technical skills as an industrial researcher, collaborate across Dow teams and functions, and contribute to Dow’s business and sustainability goals.
Qualifications – Required education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed for this role (must haves).
A PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Data Science, Statistics or other engineering or science-related discipline is required.
A graduation date of no later than November 2027, and post-doctoral candidates should apply.
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum GPA of 3.00 (on a scale of 4.000).
