What does it really take to move an evidence-based intervention from a research study into everyday community practice?
Join the Third Coast CFAR’s HIV Dissemination Science and Practice Scientific Working Group (DisSci SWG) for a hybrid seminar featuring Greg Rebchook, PhD.
Using the Mpowerment Project as a case study, this seminar will share the successes, adaptations, tradeoffs, and behind-the-scenes lessons from more than two decades of dissemination and implementation work with community-based organizations. The seminar will highlight what helped organizations adopt and sustain the intervention, how organizations reshaped it for local communities, and what we learned about technical assistance, fidelity, partnerships, and the practicalities of implementation in the real world.
The primary audience for this seminar is anyone interested in dissemination and implementation, especially researchers, practitioners, public health professionals, and community partners working to translate evidence-based interventions into real-world settings.
If you will be attending in person, please RSVP by Thursday, October 29 to receive a lunch.
