Please join us for the 18th annual Writers Festival, featuring renowned writers offering public readings!

This year's featured writers are Leni Zumas, Aminatta Forna, and Marsha de la O. 

May 11: Reading by Leni Zumas at 5pm. 
Leni Zumas is the author of four books of fiction, including Wolf Bells (Algonquin/Little, Brown, 2025). Her bestselling novel Red Clocks won the 2019 Oregon Book Award for Fiction and was shortlisted for the Orwell Prize for Political Fiction and the Neukom Award for Speculative Fiction.

May 12: Reading by Aminatta Forna at 5pm.
Aminatta Forna is the award-winning author of the novels Happiness, The Hired Man, The Memory of Love and Ancestor Stones, and a memoir, The Devil that Danced on the Water. Her latest book, an essay collection, The Window Seat: Notes from a Life in Motion, was published in 2021.

May 13: Reading by Marsha de la O at 5pm. 
Marsha de la O was born and raised in Southern California. She earned her MFA from Vermont College and is the author of two collections of poetry: Black Hope (1997), winner of the New Issues Poetry Prize, and Antidote for Night (2015), winner of the Isabella Gardner Prize from BOA Editions.
